Admission & Withdrawal Rules


SCHEDULE

The registration for admission starts from the 1st of January every year. The new session, for all classes (including IX & XI) starts from the 1st of April every year.

ELIGIBILITY

1) At the time of seeking admission the candidate should have the age of 3 plus years for Nursery Class.

2) Entrance Tests & Interviews are conducted for admissions in class I & onwards.

Admission Rules

Children seeking admission will have to appear for an Aptitude Test and only those who qualify are granted admission. Registration does not guarantee admission. All documents, as stipulated in the admission form, must be submitted at the time of admission.

For Class X

As the syllabus prescribed at Secondary Level is of two years integrated course, no admission shall be taken in class X directly. Provided further that admission to class X in a school shall be open only to such a student who:

  1. has completed a regular course of study for class IX from an institution affiliated to CBSE, New Delhi.
  2. has completed a regular course of study for class IX and has passed in class IX examination conducted by an institution affiliated to CBSE and migrating from/within one city/State to another only on the transfer of the parent(s) or shifting of their families from one place to another, after procuring from the student the Report Book and the Transfer Certificate duly countersigned by the Board; and
  3. a student who has completed a regular course of study for class IX and has passed class IX examination from an institution recognized by/affiliated to any recognized Board in India can be admitted to a school affiliated to CBSE only on the transfer of the parent(s) or shifting of their families from one place to another, after procuring from the student the mark sheet and the Transfer Certificate duly countersigned by the Educational Authorities of the Board concerned

Notwithstanding anything contained in the rules above. Chairman shall have the powers to allow change of school for better academic performance. medical reasons etc. to avoid undue hardship to the candidate(s).

In case of all such admissions the schools would obtain post facto approval of the Board within one month of admission of the student.

For Class XI

Admission to Class XI in a school shall be open to such a student who has passed class X Examination conducted by CBSE or by any other recognized Board of Secondary Education/Indian University and recognized by CBSE as equivalent to its secondary school examination; and

For Class XII

(i) As the syllabus prescribed at Senior level is of two years integrated course, no admission shall be taken in class XII directly. Provided further that admission to Class XII in a school shall be open only to such a student who:

  1. has completed a regular course of study for Class XI and has passed class XI examination from an institution affiliated to CBSE New Delhi.
  2. has completed a regular course of study for class XI and has passed class XI examination from an institution affiliated to CBSE and migrating from/within one city/state to another only on the transfer of the parent(s) or shifting of their families from one place to another, after procuring from the student the mark sheet and the Transfer Certificate duly countersigned by the Board; and
  3. has completed a regular course of study for class XI and has passed class XI examination from an institution recognized by/affiliated to any recognized Board in India can be admitted to a school affiliated to CBSE only on the transfer of the parent(s) or shifting of their families from one place to another, after procuring from

the student the mark sheet and the Transfer Certificate duly countersigned by the Educational Authorities of the Board concerned.

Provisional Admission to Class XI

Provisional admission is granted in April to all deserving Class X students on the basis of their overall performance of Class pre-board exams. A student is admitted to class XI only if he/she clears the class X CBSE/ICSE or equivalent examination. He/she must secure the required percentage, prescribed by the school, for a particular stream. Every student is expected to follow rules and be disciplined, in and outside school as well.

WITHDRAWAL RULES

  1. One month’s notice is necessary in case a parent wants to withdraw his/her ward from the school otherwise one month’s dues are chargable in lieu thereof.
  2. At the end of the session: Application for withdrawal must be submitted at least one month in advance, i.e. by the end of February.
  3. Transfer Certificate will not be issued under the following circumstances:
    • The parent / guardian has failed to submit the Transfer Certificate from the previous school where the child had studied.
    • Failed to submit the Birth Certificate of the ward from Municipal Corporation of the area or Registrar of Birth & Death.
    • The dues pertaining to the school have not been paid.
  4. Students may be asked to leave the school on the following grounds.
    • Non-payment of School Dues.
    • Parents repeatedly not meeting the teacher in the school when called.
    • Using unfair means in any examination or attempting to influence any teacher by any examination.
    • Consistent unsatisfactory progress in studies.
    • Conduct harmful to others.
    • Any two detentions.

ATTENDANCE RULES

  1. The school expects every student to attend school regularly. At least 80% attendance during the session is compulsory to be eligible to appear for the Annual Examination.
  2. No student shall be absent from the school without obtaining prior permission.
  3. Parents should send the leave application duly signed and addressed to the Principal, giving a valid reason, seven days in advance. The leave will not be allowed/ sanctioned if it is not applied seven days in advance.
  4. If a student is absent without prior information, then the school must be informed the same day and a leave application must be submitted the next day by the parents themselves personally otherwise the student may not be allowed to attend the classes.
  5. If leave is taken on medical grounds for more than two days, a medical certificate from a qualified doctor should be enclosed along with the leave application by the parents themselves.
  6. If a student is absent without permission for more than 10 days, his/her name will be struck off from the rolls. Re-admission, if granted, shall be done on payment of fine for the days of absence and the re-admission fee.
  7. Student of class X and XII must put in 100% attendance. Special classes will be held and notified by the school from time to time. They must appear for all tests/examination. If there is any irregularity by students of class X and XII, the school will with hold their name from the Board Exams.

Fee Deposition Schedule

School Fee Schedule and Rules : For Day Scholars

  1. Payment of fee may be made/deposited through Account Payee Bank Draft/Cheque/ RTGS in favour of R.E.D. Sr. Sec. School , Chhuchhakwas (Jhajjar).
  2. The fees counter remains open on all working days during school hours.
  3. The last date of payment of monthly dues is the 10th of each month. After that the fine of Rs. 20/- per day is charged from each defaulter.
  4. If the fee is not paid by the 20th of a month, the name of the student is struck off the school roll.
  5. Re-admission may, however, be considered at the discretion of the Principal on payment of all the arrears and a re-admission fee of Rs. 500/-.
  6. Fees for the month of May and June is required to be paid by the 10th of May and for the months of February and March by the 10th of February.
  7. The School does not take any responsibility of sending reminders to parents to pay school fee

The parents/guardians must retain the receipts issued to them as a proof of payment and produce them, if and when asked.

School Fee-Schedule and Rules : For Boarders

  1. Payment of fee may be made / deposited through Account Payee Bank Draft/Cheque/RTGS in favour of R.E.D. Sr. Sec. School Chhuchhakwas (Jhajjar).
  2. The fees counter remains open on all working days during school hours.
  3. The hostel students must deposit their quarterly installment within 20 days of the installment becoming due for payment.
  4. The quarterly due dates are 1st April, 1st July, 1st October and 1st January.
  5. If the fee is not paid by the 20th of a month for which the fees is due for payment, the name of the student is struck off the school roll.
  6. The School does not take any responsibility of sending reminders to parents to pay school fee.

Note :

  1. If a student leaves the hostel in mid-session, full fee for the session will be charged.
  2. Parents are requested not to send any money directly to the children.

The parents/guardians must retain the receipts issued to them as a proof of payment and produce them, if and when asked.

Refund of Dues in Case of Withdrawal

For Day Scholars:

  1. In case of withdrawal within first month of admission, building fund and annual dues shall be refunded in full.
  2. In case of withdrawal within two months of admission, 50% amount of building fund and annual dues shall be refunded.
  3. In case of withdrawal after two months of admission, no refund except security deposited by student, if any, shall be admissible.

For Boarders:

  1. In case of withdrawal within first month of admission, building fund and annual dues shall be refunded in full. But the first quarterly installment shall be refunded after deducting one month’s charges i.e. 1/3rd of the quarterly installment
  2. In case of withdrawal within two months of admission, 50% amount of building fund and annual dues shall be refunded. But the first quarterly installment shall be refunded after deducting two month’s charges i.e. 2/3rd of the quarterly installment
  3. In case of withdrawal after two months of admission, no refund except the security deposited by student, if any, shall be admissible.

Dues Payment in case of discontinuance of the use of a facility:

  1. If a boarder wants to be a day scholar, he will be required to pay full charges of a regular hostler for the remaining part of that session.
  2. If a day boarder availing conveyance facility provided by the school then he will have to pay the conveyance charges for the complete session even if he stops availing the facility during the mid of session.
  3. In case of indiscipline in the hostel or in the school vehicle the student can be expelled from the hostel or disallowed the use of school vehicle. In such cases, however, the student will have to continue to pay the regular hostel or conveyance charges, as the case may be, for remaining period of the session.
  4. The amount of security deposited by the students can be claimed within one year from the date of leaving the school failing which the security amount shall be adjusted to the society funds.

Attestation and Issue of Documents :

  1. For verification of attestation of any document by the school authorities, the verified/attested document shall be delivered to the parent/student after three days from the date of submission.
  2. For any document, to be prepared by the school authorities, the required document shall be delivered to the parents/students after a period of seven days from the date of submission.
